1) What is the design theme or metaphor that is used on the web site? How
does it add to your impression of the web site?
There is more goofing off to do!
2) What colors are used on the site? How do they contribute to your feelings
about the web site?
Orange, Yellow, and all sorts of loud colors. I
thought it was done quite well, though. It made the site very lively.
3) How consistently is the design followed from one section of the web site
to another?
Quite a bit. The main colors changed, so you know when you
moved into a new section, but the design/layout was the same.
4) Does the appearance and arrangement of elements on the page (such as the
placement of primary and secondary content or the location of navigation
buttons) make the pages easy and logical to use? If so, how is that
accomplished?
Yes. Standard, consistent navigation.
Organization
1) What are the main categories used to organize information? Do they make
sense? Are they intuitive?
Tv shows, web shows, timewasters, community, tv schedule,
shopping, and radio. Yes, they make sense. Yes, they are
intuitive. (Like an expanded tv guide.)
2) How closely does the overall organization of the site follow the
"five clicks rule" (you're never more than five clicks from the
information you are seeking)?
Good. Lots of visual aids for links on each page.
3) Does the placement of the hypertext links make sense? Are there too many
or too few?
Yes, more than enough for time wasting!
4) Was there anything that was too difficult to find?
I wasn't looking for anything in particular, so no.
Writing
1) How would you describe the writing style? Friendly? Professional? What
words would you use?
Good comedy. (Mostly)
2) How concise was the writing? How clear was it?
Same as above. Plenty clear enough.
Technical Performance
1) How would you judge the speed of the web site?
Very good.
2) Were there some technical functions that dazzled you? Were there some that
didn't make sense or didn't work?
No, not really. There was some slowness in getting
the audio of a radio program, but that could have been the startup of the Real
player.
Overall Assessment
1) What did you like best about this web site? What "'wowed" you?
Lots of stuff to choose from. Every bit as
entertaining as I could have imagined.
2) Are there any places where the site could be improved? If so, what should
be the highest priorities for improving this site?
None.
